VIG has done a few businesses over the years. A few times, I have been stiffed by someone who owed me money. The common characteristic of the weasels who would not pay is bluster. By bluster, I mean they spend a lot of time telling how important they are, how wealthy they are etc. I remember one guy telling me how much he spent in other areas to impress me that I could do well if he spent more with him--and also that he spent a ton. Turns out he was stiffing everyone. It's a quality to watch for in a person if you are dealing with them.
